Can we track server-side events?

I’m working on a phoenix application that uses LiveView so I have very little javascript in my application, but there are actually quite a few useful events that happen. The code is structured in such a way that it would be super nice to be able to send custom events to Plausible from the server-side, but the documentation only mentions using browser JavaScript. Has anyone done this? I can obviously look into what the JavaScript library is doing, but I was curious if there’s a reason not to go down this path.

Thanks.

There’s a bit of discussion about it here and the main problem with server side is all the bots which make the stats unusable. If we can find a way to remove the bots, we would definitely look to implement this. Take a look at this analysis we did on server side vs client side analytics.
